CHE'LIT Candle Company, LLC is a Black Woman-owned home-based small business in Maryland focused on creating safe, toxic-free, high-quality candles consisting of a luxurious vegan wax blend of coconut apricot & premium scented fragrances free of synthetic dyes, parabens, and phthalates.

I always had an obsession with filling my home with fresh and relaxing fragrances that would create a peaceful ambience of lasting memories for my family. After realizing the impact of spending endless amounts of money on big-box brand candles that contain harmful airborne chemicals, in early 2023 after many months of testing products for performance and giving gifts to my friends & family for feedback, I created CHE’LIT.

I made the decision to turn my candle making hobby into a profitable business venture. I became insured and registered, as I had finally found my passion and fell completely in love with the art of making my very own home fragrances. I am so excited to grow my business into something that could be a generational wealth for my children.

Every product is hand-poured by me. I use nothing but the best possible choices when making your candles by purchasing high quality wicks, vessels, and fragrance oils with clean certifications, and I avoid adding fillers and additives. I make all of my candles, wax melts, and room sprays with the utmost care and consideration for all of my customers.

My mission is to provide happiness and wellbeing, by offering natural products designed to uplift your mood and enrich your home décor. I believe you shouldn't have to sacrifice your health to enjoy beautiful fragrances.
